I have recently had some testing of products in the tile adhesive. Many of the products I've tried to call themselves conservatives and wood, masonry, etc. I have tried all kinds of stains. Acids and bases. I think that in general you get what you pay for. The expensive material, such as $ 100 per gallon preform is not completely free from the half of the products less.
